For the health and safety of our guests, volunteers and staff, we have decided to close the Amazing Space, Penningroth Barn and Etzel Sugar Grove Farm campuses to the public until further notice. All programs starting March 15th have been canceled or postponed for a later date.
The Maple Syrup Festival (scheduled for March 21 & 22) has also been postponed. We have not yet set the new date but will be sharing this once it is confirmed. If you have purchased a ticket already, it will be transferable to the rescheduled date. If you would like to donate the cost of your ticket to the Nature Center or receive a refund, please email naturecenter@indiancreeknaturecenter.org. You can still purchase tickets to the rescheduled Maple Syrup Festival date here.
The Maple Syrup Festival is our largest fundraiser of the year and has historically been a time of significant membership renewal and donations. Having to postpone this event will increase our need for your support to keep our mission thriving — we depend on the generosity of people like you to make donations to support the work of the Nature Center.
While Amazing Space is closed, ICNC staff will be working offsite. We will keep monitoring the situation and will keep you informed as we make decisions accordingly. Stay up to date by following us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), subscribing to our e-newsletter or watching our website for more information.
At the Nature Center, we firmly believe in the importance of getting outside and experiencing the benefits that nature provides, but also value the wellbeing of our community, which is why we’ve made the hard decision to close for the time being. Above all, we want to keep our community healthy and safe and are doing our part to prevent the potential spread of the virus. Be well, and we look forward to seeing you when we reopen.
