Join us Tuesdays in June through September from 6-7 PM for free yoga and pilates classes at Indian Creek Nature Center. 

This free practice is very popular. In order to start and end on time, please arrive a few minutes early to park and settle into your socially-distanced spot.

Led by some of the area’s best teachers, we’ll practice outdoors on the Amazing Space patio and lawn, surrounded by the beauty of the restored natural prairie and woodlands. There’s no need for music, as the outdoors provides the soundtrack for this practice; you’ll be serenaded by the geese, frogs, and the breeze.

  • Practice in the Prairie will be held outdoors only. There is no indoor alternative in the event of inclement weather. If the weather is looking sketchy, watch our Facebook page for a cancellation announcement.
  • Yogis should bring their own mat, blocks, straps, and any other gear. We will not have ICNC yoga mats available to borrow.
  • The building will be open only for restroom use and to fill water bottles.
  • As always, if you or anyone in your household is ill, has been ill recently, or has been in contact with someone who has been ill, please stay home and rest.
  • NEW THIS YEAR: Big Grove Brewery will be joining us on the last Tuesday of every month for an after-yoga happy hour. They’ll be sampling a selection of their beers, and we will also have pints available for purchase. New Pioneer Co-op will supply the snacks.
