Cedar Rapids Climate Story: Plan the Future of our Environment

When I am not at my desk, I am often out in the field mulching trees or grubbing out invasive honeysuckle bushes. Both of which I love to do and make this world a better place for the environment and the community. Last week, I was doing something just as important, but very different. I serve on the Cedar Rapids Community Climate Advisory Committee, and we are going to be working on the Cedar Rapids Climate Story. It is a story of hope, of action, and of all the people coming together to create a better environment for our future.

One of the important things about our community, and the story we are creating, is that it is dependent on you. You can help plan the future of the environment and the community by joining us at any of the following:

  • June 22: Daniels, 9:30-11:30am, Reed 4:30-6:30pm
  • June 23: Delaney, 9:30-11:30am
  • June 24: Time Check, 9:30-11:30am, Green Square, 1:30-3:30
  • June 26: Redmond, 12:00-1pm
