By the look of our downstairs, you probably wouldn’t think that we’re making progress. The walls have been removed, the floor can’t be walked on, and the only bathroom on site, temporarily, is the port-o-john.
So why are we so happy here at Indian Creek Nature Center?
Well, for starters, we’re still upstairs, which means that everything going on downstairs can happen and we can still do our office work and receive visitors.
Secondly, we’re making progress! The wall removal happened so more insulation could be put in, and we can’t walk on the floor because it is getting a fancy new coat of finish that will make it wonderfully easy to clean!
So sure, things look a little more torn up than usual, but it only means that we’re back on track!
