Workers were out today to prepare for another installation of permeable paving at the Nature Center! You can see they are digging out the area next to the barn where the original grasspave walkway was installed years ago. Next will be layers of various sized rock and then the paver blocks go on top. 
Contractors and homeowners can learn more about installing permeable paving from the experts at FREE workshops at the Nature Center. Contractors’ workshop is Oct 12th from 9am-12noon. Homeowners can come Saturday, Oct 13th from 9am-12noon. Call to reserve a seat! 319-362-0664.
