The Prairie Labyrinth at Indian Creek Nature Center is inviting and invigorating.
Forbs and grasses seem to thrive even in the springtime heat and drought that Eastern Iowa landscape has endured.
Rattlesnake Master have formed buds, the aroma of mint adds a soft perfume to the air and an eagle soared past as Sarah Boniface admired the beauty of the emerging prairie.
Join us for an early summer tour of area labyrinths on July 14, at 10 AM. Begin at the Indian Creek Nature Center where a guide will explain our prairie labyrinth, share how to walk and reflect in labyrinths, and invite you to experience walking its path. Receive a map and driving directions to the several labyrinths in the Cedar Rapids area. You may visit as many as you choose. Consider bringing a journal to record your experience and reflections.
