“I wish Creekside was pre-k through 12th! I’d send all my children there in a heartbeat. We miss you very much and are forever grateful to ICNC for the holistically nurturing environment that each of you have played such an integral part in creating. What a gift your program is and has been to so many, including us.”

Give the Gift of Time in Nature
Students spent more than 80% of their school hours outside and we want to keep that number high!
You can help get, and keep, CFS students outside longer by providing teachers with lightweight first aid supplies, hygiene products and more. Portable supplies teachers can carry with them allows the class to adventure further away from the building and into the woodlands, prairies and wetlands across the Nature Center’s 200-acre outdoor classroom.
Your purchases can also create unique experiences, such as making tea on the trail with a kettle, identifying wildlife with binoculars or equipment for scientific experimentation out in nature. Ohh, and you can never have enough art supplies! Kids love to draw and art is a great way for students to develop early writing skills.
With your support, Creekside Forest School teachers will be well-equipped to transform our students into Champions of Nature!
Other Ways to Support Creekside Forest School
Supporting Creekside Forest School by purchasing items from their list is only one of the many ways you can invest in outdoor education at Indian Creek Nature Center.
OTHER WAYS TO GIVE BACK
- Gently Used Items: Donating slightly used pots and pans for our mud kitchen or art supplies is a great way to support CFS students while reducing our carbon footprint. If you have items you’d like to donate please contact us at naturecenter@indiancreeknaturecenter.org.
- Cash Donation: Not sure what to give? You can make a donation to Indian Creek Nature Center using our simple online giving form. If you put CFS Fundraiser in the “What prompted you to give?” field we’ll make sure your gift is used to support CFS.
- Volunteering: Teaching is hard work and a few helping hands goes a long way to improve the learning experience for our students. Learn about how you can pitch in by visiting our Volunteer page.
