Nick McGrath is a South Dakota transplant with a degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa. After leaving the traditional classroom setting he maintained a passion for teaching by pursuing work in the environmental realm and becoming an ISA Certified Arborist. After nearly a decade working primarily in urban forestry, Nick is thrilled to be at Indian Creek Nature Center where he can be immersed in nature on a daily basis. When he’s not on the trails at Indian Creek, Nick enjoys spending time with his family, running and coaching sports throughout the year.
