Start off the afternoon by joining Raptology as they show and tell visitors a couple of non-releasable raptors.
Learn more about these amazing creatures and the lessons that can be learned from each one. This is a come-and-go event with no formal program, no cost, and no registration required.
Raptology will be set up in the yard outside the Amazing Space building. In the case of inclement weather, this program will be moved indoors.
Following the Meeting Live Raptors event, Meet Our Animals (salamander, toad, snake and turtle) will be held in the classrooms from 1-2pm ($2/person) and will also be a come-and-go event. Finally, learn through hands-on lessons from the Iowa Children’s Museum from 2-3:30pm in the auditorium (free).
