skunk cabbage

We’ve had our first skunk cabbage (Symplocarpus foetidus) sightings here at the Center, which is fantastic, because this Sunday, we have a naturalist led hike up the Bena Brook to look for more!

For more information, visit the website, and click “calendar”. For more information online about skunk cabbage, visit wikipedia.

(The photo on this post has been borrowed from this website. Hopefully after this weekend’s hike, we’ll have some pictures of our own to show you!)
