Help us get kids outside!
After Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday comes Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving taking place on November 29. #GivingTuesday is an opportunity to show your support for organizations and causes that you care about.
According to a new Nature Conservancy poll, only about 10% of kids are spending time outside each day. We know that if children lose touch with nature, they won’t fight for it. It’s more important than ever to get kids outside and soaking up the many benefits of outdoor play and learning.
Because of this, Indian Creek Nature Center has set a $10,000 #GivingTuesday goal to fund the completion of the outdoor classroom at Amazing Space. This is a place where children of any age can engage in hands-on learning and fun, and grow to appreciate nature. We ask you to consider donating to Indian Creek Nature Center to help us reach our $10,000 goal and complete the construction of the new outdoor classroom at Amazing Space!
Better yet, every gift you give to the #GivingTuesday campaign from now through midnight on Tuesday, November 29 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $5,000, by generous donors Tim and Jennifer Semelroth. This DOUBLES the impact of your gift!
To make an even bigger impact, please “like” the Nature Center on Facebook to share our #GivingTuesday posts, and tell your friends about #GivingTuesday!
