Land Purchase

The Indian Creek Nature Center Board of Directors and staff moved quickly when a gorgeous 28-acre woodland overlooking the Cedar River came up for sale. We have until December 31, 2008 to find nearly a half-million dollars to protect these woods and establish an endowed fund for perpetual care. Finding the money for the woodland is daunting, but already many people have opened their checkbooks.

Please help the Nature Center protect this land for future generations of children. Especially in today's mechanized world, natural places add a vibrancy and richness to our everyday lives.
